The Islands of Siankaba is situated in one of the most magnificent parts of the Zambezi River, on two secluded private islands and right near one of the glorious Seven Wonders of the Natural World, Victoria Falls (a must see). The lodge is luxurious and elegant, offering top class service, accommodation and cuisine. Experience beautiful views over the River in peace and enjoy the surroundings and wildlife around you.

Why we love Islands of Siankaba!

The location is spectacular, especially with the mighty Victoria Falls nearby. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with beautiful views from all angles. I thought the bridges between the islands that link the two was a unique structure and a great place to enjoy the wonderful surroundings and natural beauty on your walks to and from your room.

Lodge Key Features

The Location of Islands of Siankaba is impressive, as it is situated on two islands on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, this gives it a uniqueness alone. It is near enough to head over and visit the incredible Victoria Falls but far enough to get away from the crowds and enjoy the forest and bush around you in peace.

The main Lodge has a very warm welcoming feel to it with comfortable furniture around the lodge to enjoy the views out onto the river. Relax in the sun loungers around the pool or enjoy a treatment in the spa. Other activities such as sunset cruises, visits to the falls and hiking along the nature trails are included in the accommodation. With more activities to enjoy (at an additional cost per person) there is a little something here for everyone. It really is a little slice of heaven. Unwind and take in the scenery, you will feel right at home here.

Each chalet at the Islands of Siankaba are spacious, comfortable and luxurious. They have thought of everything, you won’t want to leave the comfort of your little slice of heaven. With large comfortable beds, a mini fridge and tea and coffee station you will feel right at home. The bathroom is tucked away towards to back of the chalet and each boasts a beautiful claw-foot bathtub and a shower. The rooms are secluded, situated around the edge of the island but hidden by the natural wilderness. The rooms are raised above the ground so you can enjoy the views of the Zambezi River from your very own balcony and take in the surroundings the area has to offer.

Client Reviews

  • Relaxing unique experience with ample opportunities for wildlife viewing

The Islands of Siankaba is a lovely tented facility on an Island in the Zambezi River. For us it was a welcome respite between visits to various Game Reserves. It was also a base to see the Victoria Falls, which they arranged to the Zimbabwe side along with other activities, all of which were included in the tariff.

  • Peaceful heaven

Siankaba is serene and unique and you relax as soon as you board the boat for the islands. The cabins are spacious and secluded with the most stunning views of the Zambezi and luxurious features. We arrived exhausted after a hectic work week and left refreshed and relaxed. The staff were lovely, the massage great, the sunset cruises beautiful, and we enjoyed the communal dinners with the hosts and other guests. Would highly recommend!

  • Peaceful Islands of Siankaba – So beautiful

This small boutique type Island hotel just has six or seven tents and their are suspension bridges to get around. You get to the hotel by boats and dug out canoes. It is just so quiet and peaceful. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is lovely. They all go out of your way to make it special for you. Having dinner is at a big table with all of the guest and a staff member, very nice. This hotel also supports the local school as well, they do great work. So beautiful and lovely you have to go.
