Right in the centre of Camps Bay it offers unparalleled views across the famous beach as well as being well placed to explore the city’s coolest cocktail bars and great restaurants. At the base of Table Mountain and round the corner from the penguins, a short ride to the V+A it is the perfect place to base yourself to explore all that Cape Town has to offer!

Food and Drink

With 4 restaurants and a bar at the hotel there are plenty of areas to fill up between your adventures! Cape Town is renowned for its great food and incredible sushi, so make the most of the cuisine on your doorstep! The bar is the perfect place to grab a sundowner overlooking the infinity pool and out onto the beach! There is a quieter bar upstairs with an impressive cellar and the hotel offers free wine tasting on alternate nights!

Rooms

The hotel is beautifully designed to make the most of the natural light with local artists works for sale lining the corridors. Each of the rooms is similarly decorated with light neutral tones but vary on their location, view and size. They either face Table Mountain, the pool, or the ocean. The premier rooms have jacuzzi’s in them with larger bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers and the luxury rooms have the same but with the addition of a balcony. Each one makes a great base to rest your tired feet after a day of exploring!

    The Bay Hotel turned out to be everything I was looking for and more. The room, service, facilities and staff far exceeded my expectations. Now that I have stayed at The Bay, I can never book my accommodation any where else for forthcoming trips to CPT. It is a definite new fave.

    This Hotel has an outstanding location. The rooms, service and staff was superb. The Pool area outstanding. Also there is a lot of nice retauarants and bars just around the corner. I will come back to this place.

  • Excellent hotel to relax

    Amazing view, nice rooms, we had kind of a private pool area which we could enter directly from our room; breakfast view amazing; possibility to relax and stay at the hotel all day long (spa, restaurant, pools, sandi B beach club,..)
