Inspired by the stunning surrounding scenery the food here is excellent, with a variety of restaurants and bars available you can find everything from the perfect wine from the vineyards to the best high tea in the city. They have it all covered from picnics along the walking trails to lunch helicopter tours across the city, craft beer tasting with paired canapés to a tasting menu of a journey through the Cape. Cape Town is well known for its excellent food and wine and the 12 Apostles is a great place to sample this.

Hidden in the mountains surrounding Cape Town although the quiet and peaceful surrounding suggest you are far from the city centre it is just a 10-15 minute drive. The attractions of Cape Town are spread across the city and this base is perfectly located to be close to most of the main ones. You have immediate access to the 12 Apostle Mountains part of the Table Mountain National Park which gives you great hiking routes, after indulging in some of the city’s incredible food and wine and of course is not far from Camps Bay, Boulders Beach and the V+A Waterfront. It really is the best of both worlds, quiet and peaceful yet central.
