Situated high up on a plateau that borders the Zambezi National Park, the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge overlooks the gorgeous African bushveld. It is more of a hotel style, consisting of 72 rooms. Each of the rooms has a balcony with exceptional views for guests to enjoy, overlooking the park and some even have views of the waterhole where you can enjoy watching local residents enjoying their daily drink. The lodge is charming and peaceful, located far enough from the falls where you can enjoy peace and quiet but still enjoy the falls from a distance.
Love the location of this Lodge. The viewing deck (and epic cocktail bar) is a perfect place for sundowners watching all the elephants and buffalo coming to the watering hole for sundowners. Definitely come here for sundowners even if you do not end up staying here. Rooms are done to a nice standard and the food and service is also very good. A good value for money option in great location.

Enjoy a real African Drum Show during dinner and head to the Boma, situated on the estate itself. It is a spectacular performance and extremely popular for those visiting. Not only will you enjoy some delicious local cuisine but the local dancers will put on an unforgettable show of dancing, drumming and traditional storytelling. Immerse yourself in the unique culture of Zimbabwe, it is a real ‘must’ if you are staying here.
The lodge sits on the boundary of the National Park and it has gorgeous views of the Victoria Falls and a waterhole. You are far enough from the falls where you can enjoy peace and quiet away from the tourists that frequent the area, but still within distance to head out on a trip to see the falls for the day. You still get the sense of feeling like you are on safari due to the location, even though you are in a more ‘hotel’ styled environment.
If you wish to enjoy a day at the lodge and relax in peace and quiet there is still a lot to do within the lodge grounds. The main area is set across different levels, you can enjoy views overlooking the waterhole and watch as the elephant entertain themselves, or head to the bar where you can have drinks and snacks throughout the day or a sundowner on the deck whilst appreciating the wild around you. Head to the two-tier swimming pool, with a sun deck and loungers to relax on you can get comfortable and take in the spectacular African bush around you.
