Based at the edge of the park this luxury lodge was the perfect choice for high-end clients. Nothing was too small for the staff who are friendly and enthusiastic! The rooms themselves are huge and have a proper vanity station, a huge stand-alone bath and shower in the ensuite bathroom as well as gorgeous views down an escarpment. With a large pool, spa and library there are plenty of places to relax between activities.
‘A beautiful high end lodge on the outskirts of the park, the team were top notch and the rooms were nicely spaced for privacy! The staff were all super friendly and the guiding was brilliant’

The lodge itself is quite large with lots of areas to relax in from the pool area with the spa to the library and newsroom (where if you wish you can catch up on what’s going on in the rest of the world). You can also have a drink at the bar or in the lounge with views over the park, which are gorgeous. As they are next to the park the animals are always wondering round so you can game watch from the lodge and enjoy feeling as if you are in the heart of the bush.
The guides here were of a very high standard. They were super friendly with each guide chatting to all the guests at high tea as well as your own. My guide was great at pointing out lots of really interesting stuff on safari-unlike most guests I love snakes and he managed to find a juvenile black mamba which we sat with for a while! I soon learnt he shared my passion but he was also able to convey colourful birds and other game to the other couple on our game drive so very skilled at keeping all happy.
The boat drives were beautiful-in much smaller boats than most of the large lodges it is a very personal experience and they try and take you away from the crowds of Chobe which was lovely, we managed to get very close to a breeding herd of elephants as the drank and splashed in the shallows.
The rooms here are stunning, they are absolutely huge with a gorgeous king sized 4 poster bed, a small study desk, mini bar and massive en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has a large freestanding tub with a little station next to it with different salts and oils, a huge walk in shower and vanity station. The bathroom has open windows that let light in from the outdoors but onto a private area so no one can see in. Its hard to find reasons to leave your room when the wildlife are roaming outside your room but the friendly staff, amazing food and of course the boating activities are good temptations!
