The Archipelago in Southern Mozambique is a unique collection of 5 sandy white islands opposite Vilanculos. The warm surrounding seas are known for their pristine reefs and subsequently the vast array of marine life making it a haven for fantastic diving, fishing and snorkelling.

Each island also has some great birding and on the larger islands that have freshwater lakes you can find an array of reptiles including crocodiles. Some of the Archipelago is protected in a National Park along with African Parks and the diversity of sea mammals here is quite spectacular.
