Mokoro boat safari

When water levels permit, hop aboard the mokoro canoes (traditionally used as fishing boats across the Okavango Delta), and experience the wildlife from a different perspective. It is one of the most peaceful ways to experience Botswana in all her splendour and its quiet approach allows you to get up close and personal to the animals and birds on the riverbank!

Private plunge pool

Each of the stunning safari tents at DPC claim their own private plunge pools, as if they couldn’t get more luxurious. So, when you’re back from your morning activity and looking to cool off, just hop in here and relax whilst you watch the parading animals and the world go by, from your shaded sala.

  • Best Safari experience

    From beginning to end this camp was tops. Being a privately run camp made the experience a bit more special. I would highly recommend this camp. The safari rides included sitings of lions, many birds,giraffes, elephants and the rare rhino. The rhinos are protected from poachers on this reserve.

    This is an amazing place with top accommodations that fit the setting and the safari experience was amazing. The food was plentiful and delicious and prepared and presented beautifully.

  • Absolutely excellent

    Duba Plains was the highlight off my trip and I did not want to leave. It is the most elegant all 6 camps I visited in Botswana, well thought out and designed , and it runs like a Swiss watch. They have 2 chefs who prepared incredibly healthy, imaginative repasts .There was also a tasting menu dinner served for small groups in an outdoor kitchen area. There are only 4 tent “villas” which are huge and well spaced , so you have more privacy and quiet that at some larger camps.
