Day 1-4: V&A Waterfront

Welcome to Cape Town! A representative of V&A Waterfront will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel where you will spend the first three nights of your trip.

This landmark hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and offers spectacular views of the working harbour and Table Mountain. Walk in the utmost safety to some of the finest retail outlets from designer stores to restaurants, craft markets, cinemas, boat cruises to Robben Island and entertainment in the amphitheatre.

It’s the precise details that gives the Victoria & Alfred Hotel its elegance, intimacy, romance and reputation… the wooden staircase, the telescope, flowers and the service… friendly and efficient yet never intrusive.

Day 4-6: Michael Richards

It is time to leave South Africa and fly to Livingstone via Victoria Falls Airport. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a Tongabezi representative and transferred to your accommodation for the next two nights, Tongabezi.

The friendly team welcomes guests to a selection of houses and cottages, each beautifully styled with furniture and embellishments from all over Africa. Guests can dine beside the river or on their private terrace. Privately owned and run, Tongabezi combines an exclusive ambience with the legendary warmth and hospitality of the people of Zambia.

The lodge is perfectly situated to experience the best of the Falls.

Day 6–9: The Bushcamp Company, South Luangwa

After your stay at Tongabezi, you will be transferred to Livingstone and fly to Mfuwe Airport, our gateway to South Luangwa National Park.

In Zambia’s iconic South Luangwa National Park, The Bushcamp Company operates six exclusive Bushcamps in the remote south of the park, as well as the award-winning Mfuwe Lodge just inside the main park gate. Set out from any of these secluded, intimate camps and you will be guaranteed an unrivalled wildlife experience in one of the last unspoilt wilderness regions of Africa – the very place where the African walking safari was pioneered.
