This itinerary is truly off the beaten track from some incredible walking safaris in North and South Luangwa to exploring the lesser known parks such as Kafue and Lower Zambezi. Enjoy seeing nature up close and personal both on foot, on a game drive and on water! Itinerary

Days 1 - 2

Welcome to Zambia, On a arrival you will check in for the scheduled flight to Kafue and begin your adventure in Zambia’s largest national park, with few lodges and far between but boasting abundant wildlife.

You will be met by the expert guides at Musekese take you on an adventure through the untouched forests and plains of the animal territories for the next 2 nights!

Days 3 - 5

This morning your will be transferred to the airstrip and be flown up to the game rich plains of Busanga to stay in the wild yet luxurious Busanga Bush Camp for some spectacular prime views of the unique landscape and wildlife for the next 3 nights. For even better views, why not float up in their hot air balloon for a truly unforgettable experience.

Days 6 - 8

This morning you will be transferred to the Busanga Airstrip to take the scheduled flight to Jeki Airstrip. Head south to Lower Zambezi for a mix of wildlife on and off the river. Try a spot of fishing or simply relax in your alfresco tub as the elephants do the same on your doorstep.

You will be met by a drive from David Martinez Camp and transferred through the park to spend the next 3 nights here.

Day 9 - 11

Today you will be transferred to Jeki airstrip to take the scheduled flight to Mfuwe Airport. Here you will be met and transferred to the famous South Luangwa, well known for its excellent leopard, lion and wild dog populations. Stay in one of the oldest and most remote lodges in the valley while you explore the park, Tafika Camp for the next 3 nights.

Day 12 - 13

Head to their sister camps just north of the park where you can enjoy uninterrupted game walks, following elephant pathways and learning to interpret the calls and signals of the bush. You will spend 2 nights at Chikoko Trails.

Day 14 - 15

Take a short scenic flight to North Luangwa, one of the few places you can find the elusive rhino. Here you will stay for the next 2 nights at Takwela, set on a beautiful river bend, popular with explorers and a huge hippo pod for prime game viewing on your doorstep.

Day 16

Today you will be transferred to Mfuwe Airport to take a scheduled flight to Lusaka where you will check in for your onward international flight. We hope you enjoyed your stay!
