Your adventure begins in the bush. After a night at Nkwali, the party drives to the north of the park where they will walk for five days covering approximately 10km a day, following the Mupamadzi River. This clear river is a major tributary of the Luangwa.

After several epic days of exploring South Luangwa, it’s time to fly to Malawi for some well deserved R&R. Situated on the west side of the Nankumba Peninsula on the Southern end of Lake Malawi you can find Pumulani subtly nestled in the lush hills amongst the trees and craggy outcrops. The ten villas provide the ultimate in space, design, comfort and privacy.

Day 1 - 8

RPS Mobile Walking Safari, South Luangwa

On arrival in Lusaka, you will check in for your scheduled flight to Mfuwe, where you will be met by a driver from Robin Pope Safaris who will transfer you to South Luangwa National Park to start your walking safari adventure!

The Robin Pope Safaris’ Mobile Walking Safaris have long been known as the best wilderness experience of the South Luangwa.

The area is remote and wild, the terrain and habitats varied and the game shy and unused to man. From ants to buffalo, a bird’s nest to tracking a lion, you will learn the many facets of the bush.

 

 

Day 8 - 11

Pumulani, Lake Malawi

This morning you will be transferred to Mfuwe Airport to take a scheduled flight to Lilongwe where you will be met by your private driver guide and transferred to Lake Malawi to Cape Maclear to stay for the next 3 nights.

Under water activities never fail to amaze as the diversity of fishlife is very surprising and experts say that this lake is home to more native fish species than any other in the world.

Pumulani offers the perfect mix for a memorable holiday. Enjoy being active or simply relax in the beautiful and tranquil scenery.

Day 11

Homeward Bound

Today you will be transferred to Lilongwe Airport to check in for your international flight home. We hope you enjoyed your trip!
