Head to the edge of the park to the intimate Tena Tena camp set on the Luangwa River among the Mahognay trees. Hidden among the rich mahogany trees you don’t have to go far for great sightings. Zungulila is a charming camp that embodies the essence of old Africa and a bygone era, with breathtaking views onto the Kapamba river and an expansive plain where natural springs attract huge herds of game. The camp is an exclusive camp, hosting up to 8 guests at a time.
Built under thatch roofs, each shaded tent has its own private bamboo veranda with immense views over an impressive variety of wildlife – from thirsty elephant at the springs and flocks of birds on the river, to prowling lion and large herds of buffalo on the grassy plains.
Tena Tena is a camp which is truly dedicated to wildlife enthusiasts. The camp is tucked away on banks of the Luangwa River in the pristine South Luangwa National Park. Activities are entirely chosen by the guests and tailored to their requirements. Guests have the option of a walk or a game drive. The drives include morning, afternoon and night drives.
