Head to the edge of the park to the intimate Tena Tena camp set on the Luangwa River among the Mahognay trees. Hidden among the rich mahogany trees you don’t have to go far for great sightings. After your romantic seclusion in the bush you will head to Lake Malawi to relax shore side at the beautiful Pumulani Lodge.

With huge chalets on the hillside enjoy sweeping views of the lake. With huge bubble baths walk in showers and kind sized double beds it’s hard to leave the comfort of your room. However with an infinity pool next to the bar a swimming pool on the beach and a range of activities you might be tempted to head out. Day 1 - 4

Zungulila, South Luangwa

 Zungulila is a charming camp that embodies the essence of old Africa and a bygone era, with breathtaking views onto the Kapamba river and an expansive plain where natural springs attract huge herds of game. The camp is an exclusive camp, hosting up to 8 guests at a time. 

Built under thatch roofs, each shaded tent has its own private bamboo veranda with immense views over an impressive variety of wildlife – from thirsty elephant at the springs and flocks of birds on the river, to prowling lion and large herds of buffalo on the grassy plains.

Day 4 - 7

Tena Tena, South Luangwa

Tena Tena is a camp which is truly dedicated to wildlife enthusiasts. The camp is tucked away on banks of the Luangwa River in the pristine South Luangwa National Park. With its breathtaking views of the river and a nearby waterhole, guests can experience exceptional wilderness encounters in the comfort of their beautifully-adorned tents.

Activities are entirely chosen by the guests and tailored to their requirements. Guests have the option of a walk or a game drive. The drives include morning, afternoon and night drives. An all-day drive, with a picnic lunch, is also available. The walks are led by very knowledgeable guides and escorted by armed national park scouts. The standard of the guiding is outstanding.

Day 7 - 11

Pumulani, Lake Malawi

Pumulani is situated on the west side of Nankumba Peninsula at the southern end of Lake Malawi – romantically called the “Lake of Stars”. Overlooking both the lake and exclusively nestled within the Lake Malawi National Park, Pumulani has total seclusion and privacy. Perfect for newlyweds!

An infinity pool overlooks the lakeshore where the lodge’s private beach offers a haven of white sand lapped by clear blue waters. Relax at the beach bar or lounge around the infinity pool, friendly service close at hand. 

The villas have excellent lake views and you can sit on your large private deck and gaze out over the waters.

Day 12

Homeward bound

Today it’s time to head to Lilongwe International Airport for your flight home.
