Photography Special!

Kasane, Hwange, Victoria Falls, South Luangwa

Embark on a 14-day journey of four parks in three countries; Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Cameras at the ready – this is a photography focussed adventure. The lodges have been specially selected due to their focus on photography and the incredible facilities they have from editing suites to photography hides. You will go home with a memory stick (or two) full of fantastic photos that will wow your family and friends.

The adventure begins in Kasane, Kasane rests on the doorstep of the spectacular Chobe National Park. Here you will stay at Pangolin Chobe Hotel. They have cameras and lenses you can borrow during your stay as well as specialised boats and cars for 360° wildlife viewing! 📸

Following three nights of photography tuition at Pangolin Chobe Hotel, you will be transferred to Hwange National Park where you will stay at two different lodges; Khulu Bush Camp and Linkwasha Camp.

Situated in western Zimbabwe, the Hwange National Park is the country’s biggest reserve, home to a profusion of wildlife, including giraffe, lion, zebra and approximately 40 000 elephants. It provides a sanctuary for all the country’s endangered species, including a population of wild dogs thought to be among the most sizeable surviving groups on the continent.

It’s time to leave the bush for a couple of days and visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls.

About two-thirds of the falls can be viewed from the Zimbabwean side and, while the falls are undoubtedly the star attraction, the area provides both adventure seekers and sightseers with plenty of opportunities to warrant a longer stay. Popular activities include scenic flights over the falls in helicopters or microlights, bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge and white-water rafting (seasonal).

To finish this adventure, we will return to the bush and cross the border into Zambia. For your final 4 nights, you will stay at two photography-centric camps in South Luangwa.

The South Luangwa National Park is renowned for its walking safari, which allows visitors to view elephant, hippo and even lion close-up under the supervision of professional and knowledgeable armed guides.
